Over the next few months, CCC will be accepting photo & video entries for it’s Maine Thing contest. Winners will receive a free CCC membership ($34 value, includes quarterly magazine due to launch in October); a copy of “MUSH: The Parable of the Dogsled Team” written by our president, Jonathan Nathaniel Hayes; their names and winning entries featured on our News page; plus, the winning entries will also be included in an upcoming promotional video by CCC!
All entries must be original media captured by the individual submitting, and cannot be subject to copyright. By entering, you are agreeing to surrender all use rights of photos and video submitted.
For the purposes of this contest, all media must have been captured in the state of Maine.
Ten winners will be selected from across the following categories:
Mount Katahdin
Moosehead Lake
Appalachian Trail
Allagash Wilderness Waterway
Mount Deboullie (Rock Glaciers)
Old Growth Forest
Endangered Wildlife: Eastern Timber Wolf, Cougar (Mountain Lion), Canada Lynx, Woodland Caribou, Wild Landlocked Salmon
Entries or questions may be submitted to mail@MissionWilderness.org
Please indicate which category applies to each entry.
If media is too large to submit via email, send an email to request uploading instructions.
Please include as much information about the entry as possible, such as date and location media was originated.
Contest ends when sufficient media has been collected for upcoming promotion.
